Military Recognition Events

At Southeast Lauderdale Middle School, we express our gratitude to military students and their families and acknowledge the contributions of our military through various events throughout the school year.

  • Veteran’s Day: Our students engaged in diverse classroom activities to deepen their understanding of veterans and the importance of their contributions today. In addition, Mrs. Albanese's class wrote letters to Airmen in Training at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, TX.

  • Christmas Spirit: Mrs. Pearson's class wrote letters and made Christmas cards for Veterans at Harper's Hospice Care located in Meridian, Mississippi.
